Jeremy Jacko, Class of 1997
Jeremy Jacko and his wife, Becca Herr Jacko, are beginning their sixth year teaching at Highland Adventist School.  Jeremy has returned to teach high school math, history, and religion.  After earning his bachelor's degree at Southwestern Adventist University, Jeremy served as a pastor in the Mountain View Conference for several years.  After earning his masters at Andrews University, he and Becca (who is a registered nurse), moved to Elkins to teach at H.A.S.  What a great addition they make to the faculty!  Becca, in addition to her nursing responsibilities at the local hospital, and serves as the school's orchestra director and string instructor.  Jeremy also is the technology director and financial manager for the school.  

Jeremy Blanzy, Class of 2000
Jeremy and his wife Hannah live in Kingsport, Tennessee.  Jeremy, after several years working in retail marketing returned to school and completed his degree in nursing. He is currently working in the neuro ICU at BRMC and working towards his masters.  Hannah is a graphic designer and full time mom to their son Anthony.  Jeremy is an avid golfer and frisbee golfer.

Jenny (Blanzy) Gorospe, Class of 2003
Jenny attended Southern Adventist University to persue her degree in nursing. She completed her degree and moved to Loma Linda, California in persuit of her MRS to Dr. Ardel Gorospe. They married in June of 2010 and currently live in Kingsport, TN where Ardel is in his third year of his Family Medicine residency with ETSU and she is working in out patient surgery at BRMC, close to her brother, Jeremy.

Curtis Green, Class of 2003
Curtis stopped by the school following graduation weekend recently.  He played the cello in the Green family string trio for the H.A.S. high school graduation.  Curtis has just finished up his masters degree in music education. 

Rebekah Ruediger, Grace Whetsell, Stacy Blanzy, Class of 2009
Rebekah (who is now Rebekah, RN), Grace and Stacy, who had been classmates at H.A.S. for 8 years, are currently attending Southern Adventist University.  They graduated from H.A.S. and had a fabulous graduation ceremony.  Stacy is majoring in education, Rebekah in nursing, and Grace in pharmacy, and all doing excellent work.

Matthew Ruediger, Class of 2009
Matthew, the only male member the 2009 graduating class, has finished his studies at the Fred W. Eberle Technical Center majoring in diesel technology.  We are proud that Matthew and all of our 2009 graduating class are pursuing further education.
